All You Need is Love...

Love is a funny old thing. It can be the cause of  hope and determination. It makes things seem better and it makes the world go round and would make life smoother if people learnt to love a little more instead of hate.

To me love is violet. Put it is paler. It looks a bit like the colour of the sweets you get. Those horrid ones that dissolve on your tongue and you always used to get them at birthday parties when you were little. Love feels like when you swallow and ice cube on a really hot day. It's... refreshing is not the right word... but it is almost like when you swallow an ice cube and that feeling you get. It's an odd but nice feeling. And that is what it feels like to be in love.

But to love something, like a pet or a book, is a different feeling. It is more of a lilac than a violet. It is pinker. Which I find really odd, because pink is pain and surely love shouldn't cause you pain? Unless you lose the thing you love, which you shouldn't because you love it... so to me, it makes little sense. But to love something is a pinkish-lilac. It feels a bit like when you put your socks on your cold feat after they have been on the radiator for a while, and your feat are then warm after being so cold because you went outside in the snow or rain and got wet feat. It is such a fuzzy feeling. It is lovely.

When you watch someone show love to someone else, you see the violet coming of of them. Think about like a cup of tea, and you see the heat waves radiation of of it. Well, you see this hazy cloud of violet come out of this person. It extends around them and has soft edges. It is cute. And when someone shows love and affection towards an object or animal, the lilac-pinkish colour glows a little brighter. Although, affection is more of a blueish lilac than pink.

So, that is love. Being in love, loving an object and showing your love for someone or something are all completely different colours with completely different feelings. It is probably why I like purple huhs so much. They always make me think of hope and love. Although greens are most definitely my favourite, purple comes in at a pretty close second!
