So, yeah, I admit it... I am an obsessive person! But who isn't? If there is something that you love and is just so amazing then why not listen to it on repeat for months on end?

Josh Turner is a country singer from America and his voice is just so unbelievable! It is magical! It is a creamy purple. And then the low gruff parts he sings is in a fluffy dark blue. The main part of his voice is the colour of an off set cream fabric colour. It is really lovely. So sweet and soulful and honest. Its still got that odd custardy colour in it. But the off set cream is more prominent. And then you have a dark purple, a bit like the colour of the rose in my picture, but it has had nail varnish remover dropped over it and the purple has faded out all over the cream and only the purple has run creating this stained tie-dye effect. The blue is like a dark jeans blue shade and it looks like it has been dunked in cotton wool and the colour has rubbed off on it.
Seriously, this mans voice is so beautiful! It's a sexy mish mash.. Its one of the few voices that I could listen to all day. He has a handsome voice. It just has that safe tone to it. And the way it just wraps it around you in a sexy kinda way. So beautiful!
So anyway, it's a lovely voice!

Misery And German Sandwiches
I've been feeling really rather miserable, pissed off, angry and sad the past few days. It has been so fun... annoying others, pissing them off, getting angry for no reason, crying most evenings and mornings... loved every minute... not! I don't know, but I kind of feel like depression is coming back and is going to bite me on the butt. Whoop de doo. But then again, it could have just been the past few days. I can't remember. Everything just seems a trifle glum.
I need a place to stay. Home is no fun. Home is supposed to be relaxed. But I'm telling you, relaxed doesn't fit for this house. Tension. Tension. Tension. And people don't believe it, or don't care, or don't see it as they don't live here. Well if you did, and you lived in my head, or even your own, you would see it. You would understand. I promise. And yeah, I know I'm lucky to have the family that I have. They're not the worst... But they're not the best either. I don't get on too well with any of them.
So yeah, glum. Bad days. I physically can't learn my German course work. It's just not going in. I want to cry. I'm pretty darn miserable. And yeah. The German. Before 11, I have to know a 600 word script pretty much back to front in German and English, three questions and a few escape questions. I also have to write a 30 word sheet and find a picture. Normally I am very good at learning these things before hand, but my head is messed up and I cannot absorb any of it. So I'm ditching sleep and hoping that I can remember a few complex sentences and a few tenses and questions before tomorrow. And when in the exam, I hope I don't cry or something. That would be humiliating.
So yeah. Stress. Miserable. Dread. Why can't we be void of emotion. For one thing it would get rid of a few colours that I really can't be asked with at the moment, and it would make the German so much easier.
Okay, so voices alter to match the language. And German is this strange kind of orange colour. Imagine you have a yellow highlighter. Draw a straight line with it, don't use a ruler and use the whole width of the pen. Now, take a pink one and try to follow the line of yellow as best as you can, but let it run from the edge if that happens. The colour of the middle of that line, the pink on yellow, makes a strange orange colour. That is as close as I can get to describing the colour of German. It's not particularly pleasant, but it is not horrifying either.
The teachers voice, well it's the colour of a rather dull red velvet cake. It has had all the life drained out of it. There is not that shock of red you get. It is a ribbon of red. But a washed out red. Okay, when I say ribbon, I mean it is an endless line of red that wavers up and down, but it doesn't do it in a spikey manner, nor does it do it in a curvy manor... it just looks sort of ribbony.
Now mix this dark, faded, washed out red velvet cake red with the strange orange. What do you get? An interesting brown. Woo! That colour is just really unpleasant. It is so erg and sticky looking. I just don't particularly like it when he speaks German. It's an endless waves line of a red-brown-orange.
But what can be done? Just got to live with it and get on with life. That's what we all have to do. If you don't get on with it, well you're doomed in life little ones. Doomed! Things are rarely going to turn out as you'd like them to. People aren't always going to get on with you and people aren't always going to love you. Just accept it and draw a line under it and move on. If you can't move on... good luck in life! You'll need it.

TURIN BRAKES!
Turin Brakes are amazing! They write some beautiful music. Yes, the lyrics are odd and dark, but the music itself is so amazing. I love their music as much as life itself! It is so awesome!
So I spent my afternoon in a small, crowded record shop just to listen to them play a few songs. It was amazing! They are really short and funny. But it was the best forty-five minutes of my life! They played a few songs, four or five. Three from their new album: 'We were hear' and two from older albums. It was AMAZING!
Now, being the stalker of a fan I am, I got all three of my albums signed (They have six, but the other three are on the computer) and I got my picture with them! They are really nice guys!
So the music itself is what made me fall in love with them. The lead singer, Olly Knights, has a voice that makes my knees go weak. It is a gorgeous shade of green. It is rich and like the colour of an emerald. It has that glorious green shine to it. It is so deep and gentle and beautiful. It just engulfs you in a veil of greenness.
And then you have the light green Tuesday of the guitar and the slightly more greener-green of the other guitar in those zigzags. And the dark blue of the harmony that Olly does with Gale. Gales voice is such a lovely peaceful blue. It is a dark sapphireish blue. Maybe a bit lighter and less deep and more see through. And the circles of the drums in the pinkish-red that just dance around. And the gentle explosion of stars in a cascade of orange and rose and indigo from the tambourine with the bells on. And the tiny, tiny, tiny triangles with rounded edges of the maraca that swirl in a washed out orange and red rain like down wards spiral, like the things you get in gardens that seem to disappear after a certain point. It just all interlocks so beautifully.
And then the violet hue that just melts into it. The love they show for their music is unreal. It is just so magical. It blends really well and it just looks so beautiful. Their music does sound slightly ethereal, but it is amazing and so unique it is impossible not to fall in love with it.
So here are some videos and pictures of the gig. Sorry about my poop singing in the background and stuff. But it was contagious!!

Well, there are a few videos. There are four of them, but to be honest, you're probably bored and the filming is so poor you aren't even listening. And I can't get them to upload. So ya know. But it was an amazing day! I LOVE IT!

Todays Song
'Bird of Sorrow' by Glen Hansard is todays song. And no, it's not Disney. But it is just as beautiful. The song really means something to me. It really fits today and how everything feels.
Glens voice is a sea of dark green and blue. The green is like the colour of leaves after they have been rained on. It's dark but not too dark. It has shade to it. It's not a block colour like other voices have. The blue is a stormy blue. It is fairly colbolt, but darker. The two shades kind of interlock in this odd way in this jelly beanish sort of motion. There are gaps. There is a touch of a dark violet in the gaps. The whole thing is then washed over with a light, fresh, Tuesdayish green.
The piano underlying the voice spirals and dances around in blue squares. Like a summer sky blue and gradually getting lighter until there is a washed out baby blue. These are the higher notes. Then there is the darker woolly green and the dark brown of beer and a really nice dark violet. But from that G to the second D above middle C it is violet that slowly mixes to the sky blue. That's my favourite octave and a bit.
Then there is the gentle orange hum of the violinish thing and the pink-red-purple beating of the drum kit and the light Tuesday green of the guitar. The whole thing is set on a black background. It's beautiful.
The reason it is today's song is because it's got sad lyrics and a slow tempo but then it builds up into this awesome crash of sound and colour that dances so beautifully. The simplicity and minor key of the piano reflects the feeling of sadness that today has had. The song itself is about Glens mother and how she put up with the drunken rage of his father and how Glen admires her for keeping up hope. And from the aftermath of a fight yesterday, it just fitted today.
The music that Glen writes is so inspirational to me. I love it. I mean where does he find all this emotion to write about? My favourite part is the way he fits "squandered" into it. It's awesome.
So that's today's song. I feel a bit sad but there are some awesome highs. So yeah.

"I dont understand how you dont find me annoying?"
So at the end of this year I'm going to have been friends with one of my girls for seven years! That fact brought tears to my eyes the other day when she mentioned it in maths. She is one of my friends who has stuck by me for better and worse. I've stuck by her such a long time. We have never really fought. She is a very pretty and awesome person.
She asked me the other day why I don't find her annoying. I think she is funny and to be honest I don't think i could ever find her annoying, she's too nice.
Her voice is a beautiful golden-yellow, like honey. It's like the runny honey when it's on a knife. It's really pretty and if light shines on it, the yellow becomes more evident. It has depth to its colour, but at the same time it's delicate. The gold is kind of amber and magical. The edges of her voice are more golden and dark than the centre, but the gold spreads all the way through it.
If her voice was a person, she would be a bold, pretty, and the girl that every other girl wants to be friends with. She gets on with everyone and everyone gets on with her. She has a childish part to her. All of this fits my friend. The only bit that doesn't fit is the golden-brown that is only just visible at the edge of her voice. That bit would mean shallowness. But my friend is such a caring, kind person that that specific colour could never apply to her. She always tries to do right by others.
My friend is amazing, funny, clever, pretty, kind and awesome! She is someone that everyone loves and she is one of the nicest people ever! I love you girl! You make the world a brighter place. Looking forward to seven years of knowing you and your amazingness!! Xxxx

When The Most Beautiful Voice Is Ill
So, the most beautiful voice has been ill over the weekend! It's tragic that he is ill, but his voice is totally different. I wouldn't call it ugly or awful or bad or hideous. But it is not the nicest thing in the world. But it's not bad.
The colour is an olive green. But it's got brown in it. It's like when you use 'Paint' on the computer and you find an oliveish green and then you drag the cursor down until it's fairly dark. You then drag the cursor across a little bit and the colours mix to make a sort of green-brown-olive colour. The colour shows that he is ill as the fact that it is heavy and dull.
The colour has tiny little bubbles in. They are clear but murky and have really bright inside rims. This makes it not very nice as it just adds this texture to it that it unpleasant to look at. I'm not the biggest fan of his ill voice. It's the texture that gets to me.
But if I think about the beautiful green colour that it usually is, it makes it more... more normal. So if he said something to me today I missed most of it as I didn't like the colour and was trying to swap it. The colour is just so heavy.
I wish that he could see it. It's hard to explain it. His normal voice suits him so well. It just fits with him in every way. His voice is so beautiful! Hope you get better soon and have a voice soon!

History
My history teacher has an annoying voice! It is pure annoyance. You could bottle it and sell it! It's such an annoying shape and the colour is just as annoying! It's not that it's not a nice colour, it just gets annoying to look at after a while.
The shape is lots of little curved lines that get bigger the more he speaks. It starts out small and then the size increases as he speaks more. He never shuts up for more than five minutes. Erg. The shape is just so annoying. It just builds up on top of the last one.
The colour of his voice is a really common blue. It's a colbolt sort of blue. Really boring and you see it everywhere. It's a dark blue but there is no intensity or depth to it. It is just blue. And boring. It's dark but not dark enough to be interesting. It's light but too dark to have any real feel to it. The colour suggests self centeredness and arrogance and that it is totally oblivious to what others may think. This shade of blue thinks that it is something special, when it's not. It's a bit like marmite in away... You either love it or you hate it. I hate it. It's just so annoying!
I seriously don't understand how someone with such an annoying voice likes to speak that much? Does he not see how annoying the colour of his voice is? And the shape? Or does he love it so much that he can't get enough of it? I don't know? But I don't understand how he can talk so much when he has a voice like that. Maybe he just doesn't see the colour of his voice in that way. Or maybe he doesn't take as much notice of his voice because he is so used to it. Maybe his voice just blurs into the background of his mind. I don't know.

Science
The science teacher that I have this year at school this year has quite frankly a very grating voice. I can't stand it. It's like one of those voices that if you hear on the TV or the radio, you turn it straight off and get away from the sound as quickly as possible. Except you can't do that in this situation.
His voice is like the colour of one of those really dull orangeish-brown pebbles you get on the beach after the water from the sea has dried off of it. Erg. It is horrible. So dull and flat and lifeless. I mean, it tries to be impressive, when clearly it's not! It is just so ugly. It's horrible and should be banished to the far corners of the Earth. I mean, how does someone manage to keep their voice looking so dull and ugly. He could at least maybe shade it with enthusiasm or some sort of emotion to make it just that little bit nicer.
And the feel of his voice... erg! It is like sandpaper being pulled out of your head and wearing away the inside. It's horrible. There is no softness in it anywhere. Every time he speaks, waves of this ugly, dull, lifeless pebble orange-brown erupt and starts to wear you down. I'd very gladly repeatedly whack my head against the wall for the duration of those lessons than have to look at his voice. It's there all the time. The constant ringing of it.
It still baffles me how anyone's voice could be so ugly. Well that's a lie. I've seen worse. But it is just so horrific and offensive that all you can think about is scooping out your own brain and turning it into mush. Just erg! It's so ugly and horrible.

Fire!
Okay, so I mentioned a friend's voice in another post. And I was going to start going on about it. But when I thought about it it would probably get lost in the rest of the post. So this is about her voice...
Her voice is a really dark mahogany colour. The way it's a rich brown and so beautiful makes it like the polished wood. And the brown is really beautiful it definitely stands out in comparison to other browns. It's like the leader of all the darker colours. It's got a shine about it.
Then you have a swirly mist of a really deep red that covers it. It's almost like it is trying to fit in with that group of colours, whereas it works better with the others. The red is so fine and thin that you get the sense that it is used rarely and as a defensive method perhaps.
Then on top of this you have these orangey-yellow ribbon like trails that wrap the whole thing up. I reckon that the orange means that there is a bit of frustration but the way it mixes into the yellow makes it mean it's a bit more relaxed and likes to do things it's own way. I'm not sure really. It's kind of like a chilled-frustrated-relaxed-right sort of thing. I can't really describe it. But the colour itself is like the colour of orange juice but it's not like that. It's like that sort of yellow but it's orange at the same time. It's kind of firey and bright. It's like orange juice but like that part of fire that's all orangey and yellow at the same time. It's an interesting colour.
So that's her voice. It makes no sense. But it does. I just can't explain it. But it's all firey and beautiful and bright and so different.

I Guess You've Heard It All Before
I guess you've heard it all before. Ad you probably think the exact same thing. But my friends are the most awesome in the world ever! Let me tell you why.
1) They are always there for each other in the good and the bad. They never turn their backs and they are always as supportive as they can be. Yes, they may get fed up and bored and tired of it. But they are really awesome. They seem to have these magic sensors that pick up when ever one of them needs one of them. That in itself is amazing. But to go and help out and try to make sure that they are okay takes a lot of amazing power. And they most positively have it in abundance.
2) They are all funny. Really funny. And what's nice is that they are all funny in their own way and as a group they are hilarious. For example: in a Latin after school session, one of my mates was sitting opposite me. And every time one of us looked at each other we would start laughing. And he is funny like that. He is just so unique and individual that everyday there is a new and amusing quality about him. He is cool. They all know when to make a joke and that seems to be every single waking moment. Life is never dull when they are around.
3) They all have a crazy part to them. Life is dull without a bit of crazy. They don't understand how people can be hyper constantly. But I think they do. Because they all have that in them but they just don't realise it. And when one of them discovers that part it is more fun than a lot if things. Some chose to go frolicking. Others go completely mad. One gets really talkative. Her voice interesting. It's like the colour of mahogany but it's on fire. If that makes sense. It's got this really pretty dark dark red underneath all these orangey-yellow swirls of ribbon like trails. It's beautiful and fascinating. But slightly strange if I'm honest. I can't quite pin it down. It's so different.
4) All of my mates annoy each other. I don't know why, but it always means that there is added entertainment. Even if they are hitting each other, shouting, being annoying in general, fighting or just being themself and it is grating on someone. It's really amusing because somehow it all works and they all get on. The pointless arguments my girls have over the most surreal and imaginative things. I wouldn't change anything about any of them.
5) Each person is different. None of them think exactly the same thing and that's both annoying and useful. Annoying because they are all really opinionated people. But useful because you get a tone of different perspectives on things. None of them follow the norm and because they are so opinionated and individual, they are not mindless drones. Although an army of mindless drones would be awesome!
6) They are all really clever! They know interesting things and don't generally ask stupid questions. Yeah, you're all so clever.
7) Both groups get on and within the group's they all get on really well.
8) THEY ARE ALL AMAZING PEOPLE!! I think that says it well.
So yeah, I guess you've heard it all before... But these are the best people you'll ever meet. Unless one of them turns out to be a murderer and then I take that back. But they are all really genuine, amazing, funny and awesome people.

Soul Sisters
No joke, but two of my girls are like sisters. They are the same height. Wear practically matching clothes when ever I see them. Have the same sense of humour. They are mad as anything. And are pretty awesome too.
One of them has a voice that is kind of like the shade you get if you hold amber up to the light. It is a beautiful orangy-brown-gold. It is a quite colour that looks pretty but gets over looked because nobody really knows about it. It's a lightish shade, but it is dark at the same time and holds depth to it. It is mesmerizing. If the colour was a person, she would be that girl who sat in the corner with the glasses and geeky pony-tail and when she lets her her down and takes of her glasses she is stunning and beautiful. My friend, well she is shy towards others in a way. And she is loyal to her friends. And I think the shyness is reflected in the colour of her voice as it does not like to be noticed and would prefer to get on with things. I don't know if she would agree with me, but I think the colour is beautiful and shy like she is. Love ya!
Her soul sister has a voice that is like a sunset. It has a pinky-orange centre which slowly mixes with a pinky-lilac outside. You've all seen the way the colours work in a sunset and it works well hear. It is pale but bold and is noticesble. It has that joy you get when you see a sunset in the tone of her voice. If the colour was a person, it would be an individual. She would do things her way and form strong bonds with people and follow those closet to her because she is loyal. The way the colours blend would mean that she is funny. I think that the colours of her voice suit her well because she is loyal and does things that are very amusing. This girl is a fantastic individual and I love her! Love ya!
These soul sister's voices compliment each other and look really pretty next to each other. I love these two girls and their awesomeness. They are sisters at heart and I think and hope that they always will be!

A Selection of Voices.
Three of my oldest mates are so similar in personality but their voices are so different. Each one is a totally different colour and means something completely different. All of my girls are lovely, funny, beautiful girls. So, these are their voices...
First friend: she has a voice that is like a ribbon. It's darker on the outside than it is on the inside. Her voice is a yellowish-cream sort of colour. It's really light and it shimmers. The colour is like the colour of masking-tape except a bit more yellow and a bit more cream and shiny. The outside of it is a darker more mustardy yellow. Not like the stuff you get out a bottle, but the posh stuff you get in really fancy restaurants. The colour is like a child. It is full of life and loves to get into trouble and it adores being able to do what it wants. It is like the baby of all the colours in a way. It's cute and troublesome. It always gets mixed up with other colours that will show up on it, but after a while of it being on its own, the other colours fade and it goes back to that cute shade. I'm not sure that it really suits her fully. But who knows? She is mysterious!
My other friend has a voice that is a really royal red. It is like the sort of red you'd expect only someone with an awful lot of money to wear. It is a colour to be admired It is smart, loyal, beautiful and clever. The shade is rich. I can't really describe the shade. It is dark, maybe a bit like burgundy, but if it was to be compared to burgundy it would be mixed with a bright, scarlet, rubyish red. It is such a smart colour and if I were to personify it, it would be a well dressed young woman who was full of life and love but would come across as a cold, sour-faced, trout like person. My friend is the secret side of the red. She wears her heart on her sleeves and she is always up for anything. Never seen the trout-women in her. Ever. But like the rich, smart, posh red, she is: loyal, beautiful and clever.
My next friend has a soft blue voice with a hint of green in it. The blue is like a softer version of the blue on 'crayola' colouring pencils. You know, the lighter blue you get in the standard set of twelve, and when you shade with it really lightly you almost get the shade of her voice. Except it is the tiniest bit more blue. The green hints that swirl in and out are a grassy sort of green. Like the colour of the grass when it first comes up. That fresh green. The blue means calm and spaced out. A bit like a stereotypical hippy on drugs. That kind of 'zoned out' calm. But this particular shade of green is a pretty 'mad' green. It is full of life and like thousands upon thousands of tiny bubbles popping and bouncing around everywhere. The shade has the same effect as brushing your teeth or something. It is refreshing and new. My mate, she is shy but when you get to know her... she is mad as a box of crickets. It is a little little like her voice, but the green bubbly side is more noticeable in her voice.
Another has a voice like the colour of lavender. It is a bit more purple but still has the same intensity. It has tiny, tiny, silver sparkles in it also. The silver means happiness, and the fact that they are so small little sparkles and the fact that they are scattered reflect her. She is a happy person and loves life to its full. She loves God and is happy to have Him in her heart. The silver sparkles reflect that side of her beautifully. The lavender, because it is with the silver, shows a mother figure. It is the most caring shade out of all the colours. It is warm, comforting and happy. Again, if I were to personify the colour, she would be a stay at home mum who would care for her family and always be busy trying to make sure that her whole family was okay and had everything that they needed. My friend is definitely caring and everything. It is such a lovely shade and is probably the main reason I wanted to be friends with her and the more I got to know her, the more thought "hey, this colour really suits you!" She is a fab person.
The fifth girl has a post all to her own because she just does. These are ma' girls. And they are awesome!

Hung Up On Thoughts
Sorry, but I'm still hung up on the fact that popcorn squeaks! It's wrong and unnatural! Food should not squeak! That's for mice and other small, fluffy, cute rodents. Not food! Food does not squeak! It's wrong!
It's just like when I was given popping candy years ago. Wrong! Who seriously likes to see thousands of peachish stars explode? Who? It's wrong. Food should not make stars appear! It's wrong! And terrifying! I never want to see any colour come from a food because it makes a sound! Ever! Explosions are for explosive things and squeaking is for rodents. Not food! It's just wrong!
So on the subject of food, it's really hard to eat something if I don't know the calories in it. As before mentioned. And yesterday was difficult. But I did it. And it feels good to have eaten something with out knowing the calories, although I can make a guess of around 200-300. It was hard. But I'm glad people pushed me to do it. Thank you. I won't do it again, because today it's got into my head that they were worth thousands, despite the fact that I know it's not, and I know I won't eat anywhere near as much as I usually do because it's got into my head that it was worth 2000-3000 as opposed to 200-300. That's how warped my mind has become because of this fear.
So, why don't I eat today then? I physically cannot bring myself to. Even though I know roughly how much I ate yesterday, I can't get over the fact that it seems like more because of what it was that I ate. It's terrifying. I can't bring myself to eat anything because I'm scared to. Really scared. And it doesn't matter how hungry I get. I'm too scared to eat. And yesterday, I was quite terrified by the idea of eating what I ate. But I did it. So why can't I eat now? I won't. But I want to. But I can't. But I should. But it's terrifying. But I really should. But it's bad for you. But I have to.
I can't bring myself to eat, because I'm terrified of it all going wrong.
On a more awesomely awesome note, another one of my mates is 16 today. Her voice is a delicate rose yellow. It is like the colour of the rose petals you get that are yellow. Her voice just seems so delicate, despite the fact that she is as loud as anything and as feisty as a feisty thing. But her voice always seems as if it's going to break because it's such a light, delicate yellow colour. That particular shade of yellow always means hardworking and passionate. Which I suppose she is. But then again, her voice would look nice in any colour because she is so versatile. Does that make sense? She is always different but always the same. And it means that her voice could be any colour so long as it's a light, delicate, pastel sort of colour. But I think yellow suits her best because if you change the colours around in your head and think of her voice, the other colours look right, but her voice wouldn't be yellow if it wasn't supposed to be.
Sorry, that probably makes no sense. But anyway, Happy Birthday!

The Best Mates In Whole Entire World!!
I know everyone probably says this about their mates, and its probably an over used phrase. But I know three amazing people who are undoubtedly the best people in existance and are literally the best mates in the whole entire world! I love you so very much!
So, my mates, each one is unique. One has a voice that it the most amazing colour ever, let alone the shade of green. Another has a red voice that swirls with purple. And the other, well she has a golden voice. And the three of them are all amazing, caring, funny and awesomely awesome people. Despite their madness.
Today, well today was fantabulous!! It was one of my mates birthday thing. And because we are so amazing, we played tennis. I'm telling you, you try and play tennis when you get so easily distracted by the colours and everything around you. The blue paint splash shape of the tennis ball hitting the ground. The blue is like a light sky blue. But bluer. And then the reddish-pink clip of the tennis racket hitting the ball. And the colour of all their voices. And then his little brothers voice.
His little brother has a white voice. A bit like crystals. You know when they shine in the light and reflect on white walls? Or when the sun reflects of your watch onto the ceiling or wall. It's that clear colour. But it's not clear it's white. But not like the white glare of a screen. I don't really know what it means to be honest. I think the colours going to change a bit. But I don't know. I can't see the future. Though that would be pretty cool.
Back to these amazing friends, they are so funny. One of their laughs... No words describe how... unique it is. He sounds so... ummm... different? The way the red and purple mix is totally different. It changes from swirly to horizontal block colours. It's definitely different. It looks a bit like a candy cane gone horribly wrong. But that's who he is. And we all love Him for it!
My other mate, with the golden voice, she was funny. Fighting the others with tennis rackets. Her fierce streak in her is like the colour of amber when you hold it up to the light and it glows a brilliant orangey-brown. Or you could think about it like the colour of runny honey. Almost. She is a feisty person and will always stand for what she believes to be right. She has a heart of awesomeness and is most definitely an individual. She is likeable and extremely lovely. One person you have to know!
Lastly, the guy with the green voice. It's so beautiful. The green is the sort of green you will ever really see once a year. It's like the colour of the leaves in spring, just after its been raining and its about three or four o'clock and the sun is shining down on them. It's so green, but golden, but such a bright green. It's calm and relaxed. And green and fresh and magical and pure and amazing and shiny, but not sparkly shiny or in your face shiny but just shiny enough to be shiny, shiny. But then it's not flat shiny. It's just so green!
He is fantastic. Today he made me eat popcorn. I'm sorry, but I will never touch that stuff again. It squeaks! It's like eating mice! Squeak, squeak, squeak! But seriously, I thank him for that terrifying thing. Food should not squeak. That's for mice. Not for food. It's just odd! Food should not make millions of tiny sunny-yellow bubbles explode in your mouth. Ever! Never ever! It's wrong. It squeaks! But anyway, thank you for that. I appreciate the 100 calories I ate? No really, you did the right thing. Thank you!
Thank you guys for being the most amazing friends in the whole entire world, and thank you for an amazing day!! You guys are awesome!! Thank you!! Love you all!! And Happy Birthday!!

Telephones
When I talk to someone on the phone, the colour of their voice changes. It's that simple. I'll give you an example.
You remember my friend from Hearing Colours, well whenever we talk on the phone, the colour of his voice changes.
The green gets darker. It changes to a similar shade of a holly leaf, but it's lighter. Not quite so green. There is a touch of blue in there too. The blues a kinda naveyish blue. Kind of like the blue glaze you quite often see on china. That dark, beautiful blue.
His voice becomes more spaced out and less solid. Think about it as if it is glitter. You throw the pot of glitter into the air and the individual pieces if glitter always spread out and get everywhere. It spreads out and has that sense that it is spaced out.
The colours mean the same sort of thing. The green is calm and kind still. But the blue relaxes it. The blue makes it more chilled and relaxed. His voice doesn't really need the blue because he is such a relaxed person. If he became any more relaxed; his heart may stop. But the blue in his voice is a nice touch. It makes him just warm, friendly and safe as he is in real life.

A Girl With a Voice of Gold
So, one of my closest mates has an expensive voice. This first made me dislike her because.it seemed as if she was more important than everyone and it was almost as if she was aware of it.
But, I couldn't have been more wrong!
Her voice is the colour of that gold leaf you can buy to put on Christmas cards. And it always comes of with those mini holes in them. Except that in her voice they are filled with a bright limish-fresh grass green. It's beautiful but looks like an expensive piece of jewellery. It shines and shimmers. It's a thing of beauty.
The gold means compassion. It's a gift. Everything has compassion, but gold has so much it fills every action with it. It looks expensive, but doesn't mean that it is. It means it's compassionate and full of ambition to try and be the best that it can possibly be. To shine into every corner of the room. It's a beautiful thing to have.
Green always means kind and peaceful. But this shade of green means loyal as well. It's a loyal colour to have by your side, and it will do anything to protect another. It's kindness always puts itself last in the list because it's so loyal it feels like it has a duty to others to make them happy before them self. It couples fantastically with the gold because the ambition of the gold ensures that the green gets what it wants as it can achieve anything!
So, that's one of my best mates voices. She is utterly fantastic and impressive. I don't know if she'll agree with the attributes of her voice, I most definitely do, and so do others. Her voice wouldn't suit her any other colour.

Reflecting a Personality
To me, I find that the colour of a person's voice, can often reflect their personality. If the colour means something similar to the person's personality, it generally matches perfectly.
This applies to somebody I know. The colour of their voice is a reddish-brown. It's not a woody Brown, but more the colour of a cheap pencil when they try to make a reddish-brown. It's like the colour is trying to be something it's not. It tries to be grander, more elaborate, more warm and likeable. When really, it's shy and if it gave itself a chance, it would be able to see that it's accepted for being who it is. It would see that it's perfectly okay to be quite and there is no need to be overly dramatic all the time.
Before I got to know this person, I tried not to base my judgment on the colour of their voice. But as I got to know him it was a little more obvious that he was just like like his voice. He feels like he has to over compensate everything and been dramatic because he thinks nobody likes him for who he is. But if he gave himself a chance to be himself, I think he'd find that we'd all like him a bit more and be more tolerant of him because there would not be this grand, elaborate show all the time.
But just like the reddish-brown colour, he won't change. It shows to me that the colour of someone's voice is like their personality. A caring person will have some sort of green hue in their voice, an unreliable person will have a reddish-orange hue and a compassionate person will have a violet hue to match the colour of love.
But, this connection between the colour of a voice and a person's personality was made clearer to me by someone who simply took the time to talk about it. It made me think and this person made the connection more apparent. So thank you.

A Unique Voice
One of my mates has a very unique voice. And the colours to go with it are just as extraordinary.
His voice is a mix between a red and a purple. They swirl together but never blend. It's almost like a spiral of the two colours.
The red is not a bright, rich, royal red. But instead it's more of a light red but it's deep in its colour at the same time. You could even say there is a hint of brown in the red, but it only muted the shade slightly.
The purple is a rich crushed velvet sort of purple. It's bright and shines. It's the colour that you would imagine a royal to wear. It's rare and beautiful. It could be tacky if you put the colour by itself, but the red sits beside it beautifully and shows just how unique the two are. It is really rather beautiful.

Hearing Colour
My mate was talking to me the other day, and he said he'd love to be able to see the colours I see. They are beautiful colours, but do get annoying. Some days I love them, other days I want them to go away. But this mate, he made me realise just how lucky I am. And it sounds silly, but I'm always going to be in his debt for that!!
My mates voice is this shade of green that is so magical and rare. It looks like the colour of Hazel leaves when it's been raining and the setting sun shines in them through the trees. It's such a rare magical shade that you fall in love with it instantly. It's so pure and fresh. There is nothing quite like it!!
When he speaks to me in Spanish, the shade if green changes. It turns into this odd mix of a sort of teal and olive green which then gets mixed with white. It's strangely beautiful!!
I also see music in all these amazing colours and shapes. It can be overwhelming as there can be so many colours.

To me when Alela sings her voice is this dark greeny-blue shade that has the texture of a woolen scarf and feels like that scarf is being wrapped around your shoulders. When the lower voice joins in there is this underlyer of a deep but bright indigo colour that is more purple than blue. Then underneath there is the green curvy lines of the guitar that spiral in the deep black background that makes all the other colours stand out. Then the faint light blue- almost baby blue- blurred shapes are bouncing in and out with the clapping.
